HAZARDS
This material is flammable and may be ignited by heat,
sparks, flame or static electricity.
FIRE
EXTINGUISHING MATERIALS
(1) Carbon Dioxide (2) Dry Chemical (3) Foam
SPECIAL FIREFIGHT'NG PROCEDURES
Self‑contained
respiratory apparatus should be provided for firemen fighting in buildings or
confined areas.
FLAMMABILITY=MODERATE
SPECIFIC=INSIGNIFICANT
EYE: This material is an eye irritant. Direct contact with the liquid or exposure to vapors or mists may cause stinging, tearing, redness and swelling.
SKIN: Prolonged or repeated exposure may cause skin irritation. Repeated contact may cause drying or flaking of skin.
INHALED: Breathing high concentrations of vapors or mists may cause irritation of the nose and throat, signs of nervous system depression (e.g., drowsiness, dizziness, loss of coordination, and fatigue). Respiratory symptoms associated with pre-existing lung disorders (e.g., asthma-like conditions) may be aggravated by exposure to this material.
SWALLOWED: Unlikely route of exposure. Ingestion of excessive quantities may cause irritation of the
digestive tract. Signs of nervous system depression (e.g., drowsiness, dizziness, loss of coordination, and
fatigue).
EYES: Irrigate immediately with water for at least 15 minutes. If irrigation or redness develops, seek immediate
medical attention.
SKIN: Immediately wash off attached area with large amount of water or with mild soap and water. Wash
contaminated clothing before reuse.
INGESTION:
Call a physician or transport to emergency facility immediately.
INHALATION:
Immediately move
victim away from exposure and into fresh air.
The decision of whether to induce vomiting or not should be made by an attending physician. No specific
antidote. Treatment based on the judgment of the physician in
response to reactions of the patient.
If victim is not breathing, artificial respiration should be administered by qualified personnel. If breathing
difficulties develop, oxygen should be administered by qualified
personnel. Seek immediate medical attention.
STABILITY: Stable
HAZARDOUS POLYMERIZATION: Will not occur
CONDITIONS: Do not store where temperature exceed 120° F. Avoid contact with aluminum and zinc and their
alloys, etc.
HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION: At very high temperatures, decomposes to carbon monoxide, carbon
dioxide.
SPILL RESPONSE PROCEDURES:
Floor may be
slippery, use care to avoid falling.
PREPARING WASTES FOR
DISPOSAL:
Replace cap and discard in trash. In compliance with local,
state and federal regulations, dumping into sewers, or into any body of water
is strongly discouraged. Do not incinerate or puncture.
SPECIAL HANDLING:
DO NOT STORE
ABOVE 120° F, OR 49° C. KEEP AWAY FROM STOVES, FURNACES AND DIRECT SUNLIGHT. DO
NOT PUNCTURE OR INCINERATE. For brief contact/spray, no precautions other than
clean body covering should be needed. TRAIN EMPLOYEES IN PROPER USE FOLLOW
LABEL DIRECTIONS.
VENTILATION CONTROLS:
Use the product
in well ventilated area.
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: Avoid prolonged exposure. Atmospheric level should be maintained below
exposure guideline.
EYE PROTECTION:
Safety goggles or face shield.
SKIN PROTECTION:
Protective gloves, such as plyfluorinated or polyethylene or
Vitron, and plastic aprons have been suggested.
LABELING:
Provide
ventilation. Avoid breathing of vapors. After use, be sure to wash hands. Keep
out of reach of children. Do not spray onto open flame, hot surfaces that may
become hot, such as light bulbs. Contents under pressure. Do not puncture or
incinerate. Do not store at temperatures above 120° F (49° C). Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and
inhaling vapor contents can be harmful or fatal. Avoid spraying into eyes.
